United Airlines has purchased fifty new 737 (800-900 series) airplanes

Sara Raney, Senior Travel Advisor - Alaska and Antarctica Specialist

These 737’s could mean problems for some travelers…

The interior of the airplane is beautiful. The seats are comfortable with leg space, and if you have a credit card you have access to food, drinks, wifi, and Direct TV. The toilets are very clean, with white with blue lighting. The design reminds you of the giant white fiberglass oblong claustrophobic eggs (toilets) found in England.

What else could you need?

Unfortunately, whoever designed the toilets must be a dwarf. If you carry extra weight or height I would suggest that you fly on a different plane. Even the crew was complaining about how small they were.

When you’re a senior, and especially when you’re traveling alone, going to the bathroom can be a challenging problem! Be sure to pick up a copy of my new book, “Senior Travel Guide: How to Survive Squatty Potties and More!”
